Our focus on customer service and the art and craft of fine home building has led us to develop our system of design-build. Our system puts an up front emphasis on design, development and a thorough understanding of your needs and your project goals. Ultimately culminating in the results that you’re looking for.

Entering the construction field in the late 1990’s, Keith Underkofler, Wood.Stone.Steel owner, worked his way through the trades, cross training in several disciplines. Seeking inspiration from the generations of craftsmen that came before him, Keith saw a need to create a company that focused on quality over quantity and craftsmanship and customer service above all else. With that, and a passion for the historic architecture of Bucks County and the Lehigh Valley Keith developed his system of building, custom remodeling, and historic renovations.

   Remodeling Experience

Experience matters!

When it comes time to make the investment to  remodeling your home, it’s important to know that the person that you're entrusting with your construction project has the experience to guide you through the remodeling process, to make sure that the end result is exactly what you were looking for and to do it all on time and on budget.

With over two decades of construction and remodeling experience under our belts (and collectively centuries), we have a lot of remodeling and renovation experience. No matter what style or size of home, whether we're working with a 16, 17, or 18th century stone farmhouse, stone, stucco or brick we have the experience that matters.

Construction Knowledge

Information about remodeling is not the same as remodeling knowledge. Remodeling Knowledge comes from experience and from experience, you gain wisdom.

As codes change in the building industry and with regulatory agencies, it is common that the information that is found online regarding construction projects, remodeling and renovations can quickly become outdated. It's also not uncommon to find information that is also just plain wrong to begin with.

Today it’s very easy to obtain information about construction and remodeling, There are plenty of blogs and DIY videos on YouTube. Although this information is a great tool for learning, and gaining some understanding, the practical application of that information may be something completely different.

Designing and Building, Remodeling, renovating  a home, changing a floor plan and/or restructuring all while the home is still occupied, that takes a great deal of knowledge, wisdom and experience. We have all of that, and we'll show you!

PS: Keeping our clients satisfied while doing it all... well that’s where we add a little bit of magic too!

Education

Construction Education
Sure, renovating, remodeling, building, we sound like we know what we’re talking about... but how do you know that we know?
Easy, let us teach you!

If there’s a list of the most important things that sets our construction company apart from other home remodeling and construction companies, an open line of communication may be at the top of the list.

It is important to us that our clients have all of the information necessary to make good educated decisions regarding their renovation projects. We always take the time to explain your options and teach you what the differences are in products and procedures, advantages and disadvantages, the difference between what's important to know and what is just academic.

When your construction project is complete, it’s paramount for us that you're satisfied, and that satisfaction can only come when you know exactly what you’re getting. And being taught is the way. We don't expect you to be construction experts when we start, however, when the remodeling project is complete, you'll see that you're pretty well versed in construction.

An education in construction is the key to great results, let us be your teachers along the way. Proper expectations and expert guidance will ensure that when your construction project is complete, you'll have everything that you were looking for!
